Arizona

For the last three days of our trip we stayed in Arizona with our friends Erik and Nicole and their little baby boy Owen. Seth had an interview there and wanted Rae and I to come along and get a feel  for the area. We loved it. I can really see us living there & raising our kids there as well. We drove around to different areas and made a stop at a playground to let the babies play. Seth and Rae had fun on the slide. What a good dad.
Thanks Nicole and Owen for playing with us!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween is even more fun when you have a baby to dress up! Seth decided to be Michael Phelps, I was a hippie and Raegan was a bunny Rabbit.
Meg and Indie were Super Heroes and Shira joined me on the Peace train with the Hippie git up.

Rae even got to go trick or treating and scored herself a starburst. We let her play with it in the raper. She loved it.
Happy Halloween All

Fun for your head

I want. If I had the money (and the confidence!) I swear I would wear one of these every day. I think they're awesome. Its like dress ups but for big girls! I'm highly considering purchasing one of the more conservative pieces for my birthday coming up (hint hint hubby of mine)!

If you want a closer looksy go to ban.do.

Fall projects

I love these bird feeders made from dried gourds. Simple and natural.

These tin cans are adorable. I think it would be fun to put handles on them and use them as lanterns for camping with kids.
This garland makes me miss Park City in the fall. I haven't had a real autumn for almost three years and its my favorite season. Cozy and colorful, cool and quiet. Never stays long enough. We are going home in two weeks for Jared (Seth's bother) wedding and I cant wait to soak up the chilly air, go on a walk and listen to the leaves crunch, drink yummy hot cider and snuggle up next to my mom and dads fireplace.

Ideas from Martha.

Eat Your Heart Out

Last week I did a lash tint for Meg and her sister Lisa who was here visiting. As a thank you, Lisa said she wanted to do a little photo session with Rae. Which I was more than happy to accept. Little did I know she would capture the sweetest, most priceless pictures of my baby girl I have ever seen!!!

Tagged

I was "tagged" by my dear friend Rachel. I'm supposed to tell 6 unspectacular quirks about myself and then tag six fellow bloggers. I struggled trying to think of six. Not that I don't have that many, but its hard to know if the things I'm doing are quirky or not, because to me they seem normal. I asked Seth to help me think of a few and he was more than willing. Ha ha.

1. I love walking around bare foot. It really makes me feel like a kid again, and I like the feel of side walk cement.

2. I drink milk at every meal. I really love milk. Preferably 2% or sometimes even whole!! Usually I do a mix of half 2% and half whole. Yum. The perfect beverage in my mind.

3. Maybe its because I walk around barefoot so much, but for whatever reason like to wash my feet before I go to bed. I like the feeling of clean feet under my sheets.

4. I take my pillow with me when I travel. Even if Seth and I are just going to town for the day, I like to bring my pillow just in case I'm in the mood for a good nap (at this point in my life I sleep whenever and where ever I can).

5. I love to put pure Lavender essential oil on right before I go to bed. It smells so beautiful, and calming. I share this quirk with my dad, he is the lavender king. LOVES lavender. Maybe that's why I like it so much, because it reminds me of him:)

6. I have a problem with finishing books. I usually start reading a book for pleasure at a time when I don't have a ton going on, but once things pick up, priorities change and sadly that is always the first to go. Sometimes I just find someone who has read it and make them tell me the ending!

I tag... Shira Dickson, Raquel Bell, Katie Speed, Annie Crowther, Anna Kessie & Megan Smith!

Round of Applause please.

This is what Rae has to say about it....very informative.

p.s Sorry for the shaky camera work. I was trying not to interrupt her with my bursts of laughter.
