Happy Easter

I have had a lot of time to think about Easter this year. My thoughts have been about new life, birth, and the resurrection of my Savior. It's been really amazing to be expecting our first baby at a time when we stop to celebrate Christ's Atonement and the miracle of His re-birth. I've had strong feelings of reverence, love and gratitude as I've read about and pondered Christ's death and resurrection. I've really felt my testimony of Christ and His love for me grow stronger and I am so thankful for that. I love my Savior and I'm grateful for His sacrifice, His example and His love for me and my family.

Any Time Now

So this is what 9 months looks like for me. I'm due in 2 days and REALLY hoping she is a punctual little thing and comes on time and no later, because as you can see... she isn't getting any smaller in there! So come on out my little sweetie! Mom and dad want to see you!

9 Days Left

Here is the latest belly pic. It's huge I know. I get the most intense looks from people when I walk around. Their eyes get really wide and it seems like they might be trying hard not to stare but they can't help it. I get a lot of comments like "wow your about to pop" and "do you have a basketball under your shirt?" I usually say it feels more like a bowling ball.

The Guessing Game

When will it be, when will it be?!! Seth and I went to the doctor on Wednesday for a check up only to find out that I am showing all sorts of signs that little Rae could arrive any day now.

Some of our friends have been wanting us to post a poll to guess what day Raegan will come and how much she will weigh. Sounds fun to me!! My due date is March 20th so keep that in mind. Also, I was no slouch of a baby weighing almost 9 lbs. but Seth was a perfect 7.5 lbs. We are still thinking about what the prize will be for whoever guesses the closest, but it will for sure include a big snuggle from Rae when she gets here:) Which come on... that sounds pretty awesome.

Day Dreams

Seth and I have a nice long humble road ahead of us as far as school and work is concerned. Seth has one more year of undergrad, then four years of dental school and maybe even two more years after that if he decides to specialize. But the both of us agreed we would rather put in our time in the beginning, then take it easy after things get going. With that being said... once Seth has officially earned the title "Seth W. Huish D.D.S," and has started his incredibly successful dental practice and we are rolling in the dough there are a few things I am going to splurge on.

1) Always having fresh cut flowers in my house. I love having fresh, colorful, fragrant flower to look at, it makes me oh so happy!!

2) Having really nice kitchen appliances and tools. For instance a dish washer, a kitchen aid mixer, and a vita mix blender!!! Oh that would be so fun!

3) A craft room for me and our kids. Im talking the works! Shelves of crafting supply, paper, paint, a sweet sewing machine, tons of funky fabric, yarn you name it!

Until then, I am of course happy to be able to enjoy the flowers outside, wash my dishes by hand and do my crafts on the floor of our living room. But it sure is fun to look forward to being a little spoiled in the future:)

I know you all have a few dreams your looking forward to... care to share!?
