Deepest Fear!!

For those of you who know me best you know that I have an Intense fear of spiders. They are basically out to get me. They are sneaky little creeps and I hate them. With that being said, I am very sad to repot that over the past week seth and I have found not one, not two, but THREE CANE SPIDERS in our house! I was going to put a picture of what a cane spider looks like, but I literally couldn't stand the sight of them long enough to do it. Basically they are huge monster spiders that need to die. I am seriously losing sleep over this and having to get up and go to the bathroom 5 times through the night isn't helping the situation. I'm planning on riding my bike over to the store this afternoon and purchasing a little thing called a "spider bomb". Then Im going to bomb the heck out of my house and hopefully that will be the end of this very scary nightmare!!

I have to give serious props to my STUD husband who killed all three cane spiders like a champ!! I don't know what I would do with out you!

Birthday Girl~

Manda (she dropped the "A" years ago) is the kindest person there is. She will do absolutely anything for you no matter how inconvenient or uncomfortable it might be. If you are on a road trip sitting in the front seat and she is sitting behind you, she will insist that you lean your seat all the way back so you can take a nap even though it leaves her with no leg space at all. She's a loyal friend and is always true to herself. What you see is what you get, she never puts on an act. She also has the worlds most detailed memory. I can't even remember my first grade teachers name but Manda could tell you everything she ate for lunch that whole year if you really wanted to know. She's a very talented cook and is always baking something sweet and delicious. But most of all she's just a lot of fun to be around.

LOST!!

Attention all LOST junkies! Tomorrows show is a must see! Jonna, Shira, Megan, Corbin, Meg and I are all extras and will be making our big debut in this weeks episode! So keep your eyes open for us. Jonna, Shira and I are in the court room scenes sitting behind Kate (the main character). Meg, Corbin and Megan are all out side the court room as part of a media frenzy. Hopefully we'll all get a little screen time and not be completely blurred into the background!

Okay so here are some full on belly shots! These were taken by our friend and former yoga instructor Natalie Norton, who is an amazing photographer. I really wanted to look back on my pregnancy as the beautiful miracle that it is and she did a great job of capturing that. Only four weeks left!

Perfection!!!

One of the main items Seth and I really wanted to have before Raegan came was a nice chair for me  to nurse and relax in. We found out about these amazing rocking chairs called gliders and had to have one. They are the most comfortable chairs ever. So we went hunting in Honolulu and discovered these luxuries come with a big price tag (like $700 ish) We decided to place our order to the universe for a more affordable one. And just three days later I get a call from Seth who was standing outside by the dumpster with a discarded glider. It smelled disgusting and was really dirty but we could tell with some TLC it could be the perfect solution. So with a little elbow grease, some new cushions, help of my mom, the designer (picking out the fabric) and my  friend meg, the seamstress (sewing the covers) we now have our dream glider!! And we love it!!

The Nursery

Here is cute little Raegans nursery (if you can call it that!) As you can see she is right next to mom and dad. But when space is limited you just  do the best with what you have to work with and I'd say we did pretty good. My mom sent us the most beautiful baby blessing dress for Valentines Day and I love it so much I hung it over her crib! Thanks mom!

New Beginnings

So this is the start of our new  blog. Its also the count down to our family of two becoming a very happy family of three!We can't wait. I am especially excited to begin enjoying this sweet little girl in my arms and not in my tummy. I think Raegan and I are both beginning to notice the lack of space we have to work with at this point! Seth and I have just about everything set for her big arrival. We are on the last week of our Lamaze class, the last chapters of our pregnancy and parenting books and we recently had a tour of the hospital I'll be delivering at. (yeah, we don't mess around!) Knowledge is power!!
