Kona Hawaii

Oh Hawaii. I love you. We had so much fun on our trip. The girls couldn't have been more happy.  It felt so good to let them run around, dig and play in the sand only stopping long enough to eat and put another layer of sunscreen on. It was like Jane had never fathomed something so awesome. She would run in circles, jump up and down, then pick up hand fulls of sand and rub them all over her like she just couldn't get enough of it! We are definitely looking forward to summer and all the outdoor fun that comes with it:)

Home Security.

Yep. We bought a shotgun. And by "we" I mean Seth.  I was a bit surprised at first. Not that we hadn't talked about getting one, we had.  I just wasn't expecting to right now! But....I have to say there is some peace of mind knowing that if the worst were to happen, we would have more than our kitchen broom to defend our family. We had an scare where we thought we were being broken into (no worries it was nothing) but it really made us realize how unprepared and helpless we would be if that were to happen.

So don't come a knocken!!!!

Visitors~

Over the long weekend we had some awesome visitors! Seth's brother Levi and his adorable fiance Kianna came to stay with us. They were ideal guests. Fun, up for anything, low maintenance & the girls loved playing them. We really had a good time.

Of course we had to pick up some Voodoo donuts...they were de-lish.

Christmas

We spent Christmas in Utah with our families. The first week we stayed in a cabin in Oakley with Seth's family. Highlights were definitely sledding and the Huish family talent show. It was fun seeing what everyone put together. The girls loved the snow & Raegan was totally fearless going down those huge hills. Lots of fun:)

Of course we stopped to see the gorgeous Temple lights.

On Christmas eve my parents took us to have Christmas High Tea at the Grand America. We all loved it.   It should really become a tradition. The girls were so into it. They've played tea party enough times at home to know exactly what to do! They would pour their hot cocoa, add some whip cream, take a bite of the goodies, sit and chat... adorable. And can you believe Santa and Mrs Clause came!?! They read stories to the kids, sang songs and handed out candy canes. It was amazing:)

Yep we have matching Christmas T-shirts. Don't hate.
