California~

This was probably the most fun vacation ever. We had such a good time soaking up the sun in Cali, seeing good friends, Road tripping to Utah to spend time with family and enjoying all the down time in between. School started up again for Seth today and although being on break is so nice, there is still something good about getting back in a routine again with every day stuff. Plus the holidays are right around the corner!

so many reasons why
There are so many reasons why I love this video clip.
Actually three to be exact...
1) Jane is laughing the hardest Ive ever heard her laugh.
2) Raegan is the one making her laugh and she really wants Seth to watch.
3) Seth is in the most awkward pose ever, and was stuck like that for quite a while.

The Deep Sea
Seth is on a six week break from school and it's the greatest thing ever. We've been touring our wonderful Portland non stop. This is the greatest place and I kinda don't ever want to leave.
Today we went to the OMSI museum and saw the I Max movie Deep Sea. Raegan has never been to an actual movie before, so I was nervous it would be way too much for her. She loved it. The first few minutes of the movie were fish swimming everywhere, sharks darting all around and jelly fish floating up and down and Rae just kept asking "where are they going?" Later it showed something totally bizarre and I said to Seth "what is that?" and Rae looks at me and says "mom! its an octopus!"

Summer happenings
Go Sethro. You look good in that white coat. yes you do. Our first year of dental school is officially over. Yeah! They kicked off the second year with the white coat ceremony. Now they will be doing more clinical stuff, which is really exciting because it feels like real dentistry, not just book work. Pretty exciting!
Jane's Blessing day in Utah
She was happy about it.
Our first attempt at camping with the girls...success. Rae went from being creeped out by things like her bare feet on grass, to total mountain women who refuses to wear shoes about 85% of the time. She LOVED it. Jane was a dream as usual. The only challenge was getting ms. Rae to finally go to sleep at the end of the day!
